Policies and Procedures
Policies at 草莓视频APP are adopted by the Board of Trustees and serve as statements of principle to inform decision-making and the conduct of College activities.
Procedures are issued by the College President and set forth action steps required to carry out a Board policy and/or a standard method for implementing actions.
Our official policies and procedures are segmented out into seven chapters.

Policy and Procedure Proposals—Feedback and Public Comment

Public comments will be accepted until April 2, 2025.
Asset management is currently addressed in 61006: Fixed Asset Management and 61007: Intangible Asset Management. The College has evolved its approach to asset management, including the accounting and valuation of assets. The new policy removes references to specific government accounting pronouncements that are now outdated, better aligns with current processes—particularly regarding the volume and value of College transactions—and removes procedural details, ensuring the policy and its procedures are more resilient and adaptable to changes. This new policy would replace 61006 and 61007, both of which would be retired.

Public comments will be accepted until April 2, 2025.
The proposed modifications remove out-of-date language, update titles, and improve clarity and readability. Deletions in the policy remove references to other resources not covered by this policy, while additions specify the scope and applicability of the policy. Modifications to procedures remove references to data backups, instead encouraging responsible use. The language allowing anyone to access Users' IT Resources without approval is deleted, and the language is modified to specify who should approve this access, which is required in all cases.

The proposed modifications to the policy clarify responsibility for new policies, clarify language regarding the board’s role inregular reviews, allow for editorial changes to be made to policy without board action, and allow for the emergency andtemporary adoption of interim policy in exceptional circumstances. The proposed modifications to procedures serve to moreaccurately describe the current process for review, modification, and proposal of new policy and procedure.

This new policy outlines the College's approach to risk management, emphasizing the need for a comprehensive and proactive strategy to identify, evaluate, and manage risks across various areas. It establishes that risk management is a shared responsibility, with particular authority granted to the president and senior leadership team, who are tasked with implementing and maintaining effective risk management systems. Furthermore, the policy makes clear that risk management is the responsibility of everyone at the College, should be integrated into decision-making processes, and that potential risks must be reported.

This new policy complies with the Anti-Hazing Act and is designed to ensure the health and safety of all students by prohibiting hazing. The policy define hazing, specifies the scope and applicability of the policy and its procedures, makes clear that hazing should be reported and that all reports will be investigated, and gives examples of the ways in which the College community will be educated about the policy. More details regarding the prevention and investigation of hazing will be provided in the procedure which shall be posted for public comment soon.
