Career and Technology Education (CTE)

Programs of Study

CTE articulation agreements allow students to earn college credit at 草莓视频APP (MC) by enrolling in, and successfully completing, identified courses associated with select programs of study offered by at Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS).

Programs of Study include: Automotive Technology, Business, Construction & Development, Criminal Justice, Education, Engineering, IT and more.

To earn credit at 草莓视频APP, MCPS students must:

Earn a C or better in each of the high school courses associated with the program of study.
Submit an application for admission to MC.
Print and fill out the appropriate Articulation Credit Award Form (listed below).
Return the completed Articulation Credit Award Form and, if required, the test certification forms to your high school registrar for verification.
Ask the registrar to attach a copy of the your official transcript to the Articulation Credit Award Form and mail to: 草莓视频APP, Transcript Evaluator, Office of Records and Registration, 51 Mannakee St., Rockville, MD, 20850.
Declare the major that is noted in the Credit Award Form (the MC major will align with the MCPS program of study).

Notes

If a student does not meet the requirements outlined in the CTE agreement, they will not receive credit at MC.
Each four-year postsecondary institution determines transferability of CTE articulated credit. Although MC awards the credits, these credits will not automatically transfer to other schools postsecondary institutions.
Once articulated credit is processed by MC, students will be notified through MC email.

Through CTE articulation agreements, 草莓视频APP offers admission and college credit, advanced standing, degrees, and certificates to students that enroll in and complete identified career pathway opportunities and vocational education courses associated with select CTE programs of study and that meet the requirements outlined in the applicable CTE agreement. The lack of English skills will not be a barrier to admission or participation in CTE programs.
